  • Suggestion for Mist Nest

    I think this nest needs a little revamp....

    Doing a run in this one is lengthy due to it's unnecessary mechanics. Like the first room (the one where u need to activate flowers); practically, the whole nest could go on without it. And the final battle, why do we need to fight the mini bosses again? Why not just start the match straight from the giant tree? What is this? Megaman X, where you need to fight again the bosses you already defeated before you can face Sigma? LOL.

    And also, Haylen's (the wolf mini boss) trap mechanic could also be shorten.

    I know, I could just skip this nest, right? But wait...I need to, if I want to craft relics. Which leads me to an alternative suggestion, make a variety of recipe for
    the relic crafting ( i.e. 100 pcs of Volcanic crystals will also allow you to craft it). In this way, players will have the option to farm to the nest that they prefer, instead of
    being forced to the one that they hated.

    You hate the nest != the nest needs revamp.

    No mechanics is unnecessary, it is all designed as a challenge for the players to complete the nest. If you wants to farm MN faster, finds and refines your playstyle to complete the nest in the shortest time, instead of asking for making the game easier.

    If following your logic of unnecessary, might as well they remove all pre-bosses and straight fight the big tree.

      But they can make a nest that's challenging without being lengthy, right? That's my only point here. I don't want to make the nest easier, I just want to make the "run" shorter. Besides, no matter how good your play style is, the run will still be lengthy if there's a hindrance like the crow room (and that room is not even challenging in the first place, lol.)

      I believe nests isnt just about DPS and DPS, mechanics are there to challenge your abilities, not to hinder your farm. Yes it is still lengthy even though you have good playstyle, but it still reduces you much time (I would say around 2-3mins shorter in MN,) if you really optimized your play. Hence with spammings, it really cut off a lot of times.

    In future patch, Division Nest District 2 will give you option to run an alternative nest to acquire the same crafting materials.

    Added: Apparently, people only care about fast runs. I have to agree first stage of MN needs to go tho. Aside from that, I prefer if the nests aren't simplified more than they are now.

      guardian nest has same stupid mechanic that makes the bosses invulnerable...why not revamp that aswell....revamp KFC boss on VN also,,,and also in chiron nest they all have annoyinig mechs.

        GN's mechanics is negligible compare to Mist's, especially if you're geared.

      I kinda have to agree with MN being such a lengthy nest, you hardly see pubs running MN nowadays because of that.
      VN and CN can be completed in half the time taken to clear MN on the same difficulty.
      Think of it this way, they removed the actual first stage for VN and it's the lizard boss battle, why do they have to keep unnecessary crow first stage and the windy hill in MN?

      I kinda agree with you in the crow thingy, but the 3 mini boss that the queen summon is kinda unique to the nest. I don't mind killing them again and plus they only have like 30% hp of their full counter part. And I have to add, this is irrelevant to the topic but the 2nd boss flame mechanic where you need to reach him dodging fire wall? They need to fix that because sometimes it changes direction relevant to the player getting the whole team dead. that's all ^_^)/

        I just learn that if you use any pushing skill it will redirect its firewall skill to the one who used the skill... without the pushing skill the mechanic stays the same... not really sure if its a bug or not...

      I second this. That crow thing is annoying.. and I don't even get to kill it. There's mechanics that are challenging and there's just some that's plain annoying. I believe it's the latter.

      I highly doubt they would actually make a change in it tho.
